Opt in to review-request texts

Rhody Reviews is a business line of Own The Box Marketing, LLC. It is a review-management platform used by local service businesses such as landscapers, plumbers, HVAC contractors, and dentists. On behalf of the business you hired, Rhody Reviews can send you a text message asking you to share feedback about the service you received. Use this form to opt in. Consent is optional and is never a condition of any purchase or service.

How opting in works (confirmed double opt-in)

  1. You enter your details below and check the optional consent box. The box is never pre-checked. Leaving it unchecked blocks nothing.
  2. Rhody Reviews sends you one confirmation text: "Reply YES to confirm you would like review-request texts from [Business] via Rhody Reviews. Reply STOP to opt out."
  3. Only after you reply YES will any review-request messages be sent. If you do not reply YES, you will receive no further messages. Your YES is recorded with a timestamp and kept for at least four years as the consent of record.

By submitting, you confirm the mobile number is yours and that you want to receive a confirmation text. You will not receive review-request messages unless you reply YES to that confirmation. We never sell or share your number for marketing.

A one-time confirmation text is on its way to the number you entered. Reply YES to that text to confirm. Until you reply YES, you will receive no review-request messages.

Program: Rhody Reviews Review Requests, sent by the local business you hired, identified by name in every message, from a dedicated phone number assigned to that one business.

Message frequency: varies; capped at three review-request messages per service.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. Rhody Reviews and the business do not charge you for these messages.

Opt out: reply STOP to cancel at any time. STOP permanently suppresses your number. Help: reply HELP, use the support chat at rhodyreviews.com, or email [email protected].

Not a condition of purchase: you receive the same products and services whether or not you opt in.

How your information is stored

Consent records, including your timestamped opt-in and your YES confirmation, are stored securely in our database (Supabase) and retained for at least four years. The business you hired sees only aggregate performance in its Rhody Reviews analytics dashboard, such as delivery rates, response rates, reviews generated, and opt-out counts. Your number is never sold or shared for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
